MICKLEOVER GOLF CLUB MEMBER'S & VISITOR'S DRESS CODE
The Club wishes to portray a modern approach to its dress code and seeks to promote a friendly, relaxed atmosphere in which members, their guests and visitors can enjoy the course, the clubhouse and its facilities.
A reasonable standard of dress is required as per the following guidelines:
In the Clubhouse, lounge or dining room
Smart casual dress excluding:
- Clothing designed for sports other than golf e.g. no football, rugby, athletics or beachwear
- Golfing footwear and waterproofs or over trousers
- Torn jeans or soiled work-wear
A smart standard of dress is expected on presentation evenings with shirt, jacket and tie being the preferred option
On the Golf Course
Only recognised golf clothing may be worn. This excludes:
- Clothing designed for sports other than golf e.g. football, rugby, athletics or beachwear
- Trainers and footwear not specifically designed for golf**
- Any denim material
**Junior and cadet members may wear trainers on the Golf Course
Mobile Telephones
It is requested that mobile telephones are in silent mode in the clubhouse lounge, dining room and on the course. Mobile phones may only be used on the golf course in emergency circumstances.
